Authenticity Aotearoa is a not-for-profit collective created to empower women of colour to express their authentic selves in their personal and professional lives.
Our Mission:
To build a network of thriving women of colour who feel confident embracing their diversity as a strength, while supporting and uplifting one another to succeed.
To educate and encourage more inclusive and equitable spaces, communities, and organisations where women of colour feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Why “Women of Colour”?
Women of Colour is a deliberately broad term that unites women, including those who identify as women, from all backgrounds who experience marginalisation or discrimination through the intersections of race, ethnicity, and gender.
At Authenticity Aotearoa, we recognise the unique lived experiences and challenges faced by women of colour, and the importance of creating spaces, conversations, and opportunities that intentionally support and centre these experiences.
If you do not identify as a woman of colour, we still encourage you to explore our other programmes, initiatives, and offerings that are open to all, or share our work with an amazing woman of colour in your life.
